  11. I'm getting ready to spring for a 28.8 baud internal modem.  I
  12. want one that will be recognized by most newer software setup
  13. programs, and is easy to set up and error free.  I have a 486DX33
  14. PC clone with 8 megs ram.  My present modem is an internal 14.4
  15. baud Infotel that's a pain in the backside to set up, a constant
  16. hassle to use, and rarely error-free.  It was given to me, and
  17. it's certainly worth what I paid for it!

  19. Don't have a lot of money to spend.   I don't want a piece of
  20. junk that I will regret buying for years to come! Hope folks here
  21. who are knowledgable about modems will give me some tips on what
  22. to buy.  THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
